How to collect RSVPs on WhatsApp without the chaos
Most guests will answer on WhatsApp whatever you ask. Here is how to keep the replies in one tidy place.

Whatever you put on the invitation, a lot of guests will reply on WhatsApp. That is fine, as long as the replies do not end up scattered across three phones and a dozen chats.
Use one number
Pick one person, or one number, to receive every reply and put it on the invitation. When the answers are in one chat, the count is one scroll away.
Ask for a short, fixed reply
"Reply with your name and how many are coming" gets you answers you can add up. Open questions get you paragraphs.
Keep a list as you go
Write each reply into a simple list the same day: name, number of people, yes or no. It takes a minute, and it saves an evening of scrolling back three weeks later.
Chase once, kindly
A week before the deadline, send one message to the people who have not replied. Most are not saying no; they are just busy.
