What to include in a digital wedding invitation
The details guests look for first, and the extras that save you a hundred phone calls.

A printed card has to be short. A digital one does not, and the extra room is useful, as long as the important things stay easy to find. Here is what to put in, in the order guests look for it.
The essentials, at the top
Your names, the date, the time and the venue. A guest should have all four without scrolling. If there are two events, such as a ceremony and a reception, give each its own time and place.
A map link to the venue
A link that opens directions in Google Maps is the most useful single thing you can add. It removes the "where exactly is it?" calls, and it helps the guests who are coming from far away.
A simple timeline
Ceremony, lunch, reception: three lines with times. Guests know when to arrive, and the elderly relatives who cannot stay all day know which part to come for.
How to reply
Say plainly where to reply and by when. One tap to confirm beats a phone number to call. If you ask for the number of people coming, say so in one short line.
A little of the two of you
A photo or two, and a song if you like, turn a notice into something people enjoy opening. Keep it to a few; the details are what they came for.
